BB&L becomes Avis Preferred

What does this mean for you?

Car rental through Avis Preferred will be faster, easier and more affordable. You will save time, get exclusive discounts and enjoy a smoother experience with shorter waiting times. The main changes are listed below.

Faster service & flexible pickup
You can easily pick up and drop off your rental car at the Avis branch at P1, without having to wait in line. In addition, you’ll be able to easily add an additional driver at that branch, free of charge. Upon your departure, we will ask for a valid passport, driver's license and a credit card in the name of the renter or main driver.
Please note that we do not accept digital driver's licenses or credit cards.
Exclusive discounts & global benefits
As a loyal BB&L customer, you will enjoy extra benefit, receiving a standard 20% discount at Avis Netherlands, and a 10% discount worldwide at all Avis locations.
Wide range & easy booking
Choose from a variety of models at competitive rates and make your reservation quickly and easily online.
Payment and deposit terms and conditions
Pay in advance online or at the counter. A credit card is required for both prepaid and non-prepaid reservations. With Avis Preferred, a deposit will be deducted from your credit card. Other than this, the excess is higher than with BB&L, but can be reduced by means of a premium.

Existing & new reservations

If you have already made a reservation for departure after April 1, 2025, that’s no problem! Your reservation will remains valid and the rate will stay the same. You can pick up your vehicle at the Avis branche at P1 at Schiphol Airport.

Once you have registered, you can easily make new online reservations through the Avis Preferred environment.

How to register for Avis Preferred

To gain immediate access to the benefits, simply register for Avis Preferred and receive a personal customer number (your Avis Wizard number). We explain how you can easily register for Avis Preferred below. If you already have an Avis Preferred account, then all you have to do is send an e-mail to info@bblcarrental.nl, and we will update your account accordingly.

Go to the Avis Preferred page and start your registration.

When you reach the page, enter your email address and country of residence. Under 'Company password,' enter the code you received in our latest email.

Complete the online application form

This stores your basic information, driver's license information and payment information securely, making it faster and easier for you to use our service. Naturally, we will keep your data confidential and secure.

You will receive an e-mail with a personal Avis customer number

Make sure to save this unique number so you can easily log in online on your computer or in the app using the link below. This will enable you to make new reservations online fast, and enjoy Avis Preferred benefits right away.
